Dauterive Hospital Receives Appreciation award
December 22, 2011

On Wednesday, December 14, 2011, Martin Troy, the supervisor for the Driver’s Safety Program, presented Dauterive Hospital’s CEO, Alan Fabian, with a plaque of appreciation for hosting the class since ’96.
“It’s a way of honoring Dauterive Hospital for hosting the Driver’s Safety class for the past 15 years and we try to honor them at least once a year,” Troy states. He believes that these classes make the highways and streets safe for everyone. Dauterive Hospital has also been the longest sponsor for the Safe Driving classes.
AARP now offers an online Driver Safety class. The AARP Driver Safety Program is designed to help you accomplish the following: update your driving knowledge, learn defensive-driving skills, compensate for normal age-related physical changes, and reduce your traffic violations, crashes and chances for injury and also the ability to drive more safely.
