Avoyelles Hospital is a 51 bed acute care hospital located in Marksville, Louisiana and serving the people of Avoyelles parish and the surrounding area. Avoyelles Hospital first opened in 1938 and has since served the people of Avoyelles Parish and the surrounding area with a broad array of healthcare services supported by our growing medical staff, advanced technologies and expanding facility. Those services include: General Medicine, Intensive Care and Telemetry, Radiology, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, as well as a highly qualified Emergency Department with 24 hour physician coverage.
